Beau,

The first time we met was hard for both of us. I was taking your best friend’s attention away from you as well as your seat in the truck. I wasn’t a dog person either, so it was a rough start, but we made it work. Over the last 13 years, we became the best hiking buddies, couch partners, and friends. You made me a dog person, which I thought was something that would never happen.

I’m so thankful that Eric brought you into my life and that you helped him heal from a lot of hard things. Neither of our lives would be the same without you. Now, I hope you’re having the time of your life, eating all the treats you want, and running around without any pain. Know that we miss you, and you changed our lives forever.
