New Soda Machine!

We were finally given a new soda machine at work! The best part is this one has Diet Dr. Pepper. I don’t drink a lot of soda, regular or diet. I gave up diet soda for a year about a decade ago and never went back to it full-time. Some days though, especially Monday mornings, the need for caffeine is strong (I can’t drink coffee because it gives me heartburn) and when that happens, I have a Diet Dr. Pepper.

LEGO Nerds Assemble

I’m a huge LEGO nerd, so is my husband. We enjoy getting the newest sets as well as retired ones. This “Little Mermaid” one was freshly retired and going for double its original price on eBay (if you could find it). I was super excited when I saw this one. It was used but complete, and the price was good. So, we bought it! It did take awhile to build since all the pieces were loose in two bags, but I’ll take it. 🙂

Another sunrise

This sunrise was over Billings, Montana, as my flight to Columbus, Ohio, was taking off. I love sunrises and sunsets, especially from unique viewpoints. My dad was having a heart procedure, so the trip home wasn’t a necessarily fun one. But it was still a good time. One that started with a great sunrise.

The best fudge is from Uranus!

I’ve seen commercials for the Uranus Fudge Factory and laughed hysterically at every one. I did the same when I saw a sign for the store. After all, “the best fudge comes from Uranus!”

Finally Again!

I saw another bald eagle, and I was able to get a better picture of it. Still not a great one but better than the last one. One of these days, I’ll see one when I have my good camera.

Happy 70th!!

My uncle turned 70, and I was able to go to his party! He and his family live within driving distance. It was great seeing him, my aunt, and my cousins and catching up with them. I was even able to see my baby brother. Completely worth the weekend of driving 🙂
