A New Start

It’s the start of another day and another month. Here’s to all the greatness (and the one long weekend) that will ensue 🙂.
End of Era

After more than 20 years in business, Goodyear Printing closed its doors. The end had been near for a while, but the timing was finally right. Eric sold it to another business in Powell, and the owners liked him so much they hired him. Now, he and I are commuting to work for the first time ever (Trinity rides with us, too).
Finally!

I’ve been trying to get a picture of a bald eagle since we moved here! Every time I tried, I either didn’t have my camera, didn’t see one, or didn’t stop (because I thought I would see one when I had my camera). Well, it finally happened on a drive to Billings, MT. I still didn’t have my good camera, but I did have my new cell phone with a much better zoom than my last one. Now to see one when I have my Nikon with me.
Wild game is the best

I’m a fan of hunting and eating unique types of meat. Thanks to a coworker, who shot a moose this season, I was able to try a new one. Moose meat is super lean and does not disappoint. The sandwiches were delicious.
End of Another Era

Thanks to a distracted driver, Eric’s truck was totaled. The driver hit it while it was parked legally. He said he turned early, more than a 100 feet, before the intersection. He hit the truck so hard it went up over the curb and onto the sidewalk (we think he hit it full force and his story is bogus). I’m glad no one was hurt, but I’m sad because of the damage. Eric has had the truck since he bought it new in 2007. We met in 2013 and have a ton of memories in it.
Sunrise

No words necessary except that I love a good sunrise.
